TEIN VVU Leads Successful Voter Registration Drive — Over 300 Students Registered
TEIN VVU Leads Successful Voter Registration Drive
TEIN VVU is proud to report that our week-long Voter Registration Drive concluded with over 300 new student registrations — a remarkable milestone for campus democracy.
The drive, held across all major faculties at Valley View University, was spearheaded by our Organizer, Emmanuel Tetteh, and supported by the entire executive body. Volunteers worked tirelessly from morning to evening to ensure every eligible student had the information and opportunity to register.
Why Voter Registration Matters
In the 2020 general elections, voter turnout among youth aged 18–25 was critically low. This year, we are determined to change that narrative. Every registered voter is one more voice speaking for Ghana's future.
Key Statistics
- 312 new voter registrations completed
- 15 faculties and departments covered
- 8 days of continuous engagement
- Partnership with the Electoral Commission of Ghana
- Over 20 student volunteers mobilised
A Message from the President
"This drive is not just about numbers — it is about building a culture of civic responsibility at Valley View University."
— Kofi Mensah, President, TEIN VVU
